The root word of Adelphoi’s namesake comes from the Greek word Adelphoi, meaning “my brother or sister for whom I am concerned.” This definition truly captures the essence of the evolution of Adelphoi as an agency. For us, it has always been about people coming together to care for those who most in need.
From its very first days of infancy as a single group home, to its current incarnation as a leading provider of child care services, Adelphoi has relied on the support and generosity of its friends and neighbors to help carry out its mission.
